Air Exchanger Question

Post by jammer »

What is the deal with the air exchanger I see in all the videos? Can I purchase or make one of these?

I am doing extensive testing of the air exchanger. What I plan on doing is offering the actual air exchanger as a kit. These won’t include dust shrouds. I will provide instructions and or parts to make your shrouds.

The reason I do it this way is that I don’t believe one shroud fits all. I myself use 3 different shrouds.

I will be posting the Air Exchanger kits within the next month or so.

Do you have an estimated date on the air exchanger kit?

I just posted the kits on the shopping cart. I am in the process of writing the assembly instructions. The AirExchanger does not include a dust shroud. The dust shroud kits will be sold separately.

Its my goal to do a project on how to make your own shrouds that attach to the AirExchanger. I will also offer kits for two size shrouds.

The kits will be made from acrylic but, you can make your own out of any material. Clear acrylic will allow you to see through to your bit while the AirExchanger and shroud are attached. This makes using a depth probe much easyer. Also there is a hole in the AirExchanger for attaching a small led flashlight.

How come the new plans can not be printed out?

None of my PDFs can be printed. I also have the copy/paste turned off. I do this to keep the content from being copied.

This because I reserve the right to convert my online content into book format at some point in the future.
