Mach 4
Is anyone using the Mach 4 software? What are your thoughts on it? Any gotcha's?

Re: Mach 4
I haven't discovered any benefit to an upgrade from mach3, so I haven't.
Then again I am a luddite who doesn't upgrade until there's a compelling reason.

Mach4 is more expensive than Mach3. If you use a parallel port that will cost you as well.
While Mach3 has a few quirks, I still be believe you get more bang for your buck by purchasing Mach3.
There is also a ton of information out there on Mach3. For instance, I wanted to change the homing sequence on one of my CNC machines. A search gave me the name of a macro that held this information. All that was needed was an order change in the list of commands.
