Dragon Cables, need slightly larger

The dragon cables size is a minor issue for me. Has anyone ever taken the dragon cable files file into Vcarve, selected all and then offset everything by a specific amount, say .125" or .25"?
If you have done this, did it work? Did the parts still go together properly?
