Hi My Name is Del and I am new to this forum. I apologize in advance if I violate any protocol for your forum. I have only 2 questions at this point. If I build the Kronos 2 CNC Mill, can I mill stainless Steel? Would I be better off buying a CNC Mill that is designed for Stainless?
Thanks In advance for your responses.
Have a Great Holiday Season.

Re: Stainless Steel
Welcome. It's a CNC Router, not a mill.
I suppose with a good spindle, cooling and tooling Stainless might be possible.
My KRMx02 uses a router, and struggles cutting 0.093" aluminum sheet.

Re: Stainless Steel
Too many considerations to run the KRmx02 on stainless steel, I think you would have to redesign the table for some pretty fierce coolant flow. While it could be done, I have CNC routers with spindles cut some pretty amazing things. I just don't think the results would be the same as an actual milling machine.
You would be better off adding some plasma cutting capabilities to the KRMz02.
